Testimony:

I am the first person in my family to accept Christ. In 2000 I graduated from secondary school; I came from a poor family. My mom was very sick and almost died. I stopped school because there was no one to help my father do the work and they couldn’t support my school anymore. I felt very disappointed during this time. I turned to friends and began to drink and smoke. My mother asked me why I don't love myself because my family loves me very much. She suggested to me to join a group of young people who were Christians because she heard this religion can change a person's life (she wasn't a Christian). I had a dream of being in a cave filled with water and a man in white clothes reached out to pull me from the water. I attended the next Christian meeting and gave my life to Jesus. That was in 2002. I didn’t read much and was too lazy to learn. I led 2 of my brothers to know Jesus and together we prayed for over a year for our parents to come to know Jesus. My younger brother decided to explain to her that many parents are at church with their children and he told her after death the brothers would go one way and she and father would go another and that made her sad. She cried and decided to go to church with her boys. She prayed to accept Christ. My father was stubborn and would not go. He was an important person in the Laos religion and it wasn’t until he became ill and his boys prayed for him that God would make him well. He did! My dad received Christ! In 2012 I moved to Thailand and studied at Bible school for 3 years. I married in 2015 and prayed for how God could use me and my wife. She was an orphan with 3 younger siblings. It was very difficult for us when we returned to Laos because my brother and his family were living in the family house and we had to build our own small place. We prayed for God to give us direction about ministry. We started an orphanage. Years later we moved to the city and began a house church now with 40 members. We cannot have a church place but we meet together at homes. In Laos there is no opportunity for Bible education or higher education, but OSP methods can equip our people to learn Bible stories to spread into our villages and communities. This can impact our people! Please pray for God to open doors. The goals we have for our children and 7 orphans in our home are to provide spiritual growth, education, college, and fill the earth with followers of Christ.
